The Madison County Emergency Medical District is under the direction of a group of appointed trustees from each municipality within the district. The Board of Trustees oversees Chief Bennington who is responsible for day-to-day operations. The department is also served by a part-time fiscal clerk, as well as Lieutenants who oversee the full-time/part-time staff in absence of the Chief.
