Rebecca Arnott possess over thirty-five years of financial business experience. Prior to taking over as Fiscal Clerk, her past ten years of experience were in municipal income tax collections. The eleven years prior to that, she handled retirement contribution collection which includes the responsibility of receipting nearly $2 billion annually in total employee and employer payroll contributions and entails posting over 5 million earnings data transactions to record these funds.
Additionally, she has many years of experience in government fund accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budget preparation, public speaking, seminar instruction and financial software.
Becky holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University, a Master's in Taxation from Capital University and a is a Certified Public Accountant.
Becky is married to Greg, their daughter Mollie is a student at The Ohio State University. They live in their home in Plain City.
The Clerk is responsible for all financial functions of the District including processing bi-weekly payroll for approximately 30 full-time and part-time employees; paying all non-payroll obligations of the District; completing and filing monthly, quarterly and annual payroll and other financial reports; preparation and monitoring the annual operating budget and all other financial responsibilities of the District.
